HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN MOTIVASI KESEMBUHAN PASIEN TER-KONFIRMASI COVID-19

Abstrak

Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID -19) is a new name that given by the World Health
Organization (WHO) to patients with 2019 novel corona virus infection. The spread occured
rapidly and created a new pandemic threat, causing negative stigma in the community. .
Family support is one of the important factors needed by patients with confirmed Covid 19 to have
strong motivation to achieve healing.
This research is a descriptive analytic study, while the research design is cross sectional.
Datas were taken from confirmed Covid 19 patients in UOBK dr. MohamadSalehgeneral hospital
Probolinggo which was held on June 15 to July 20, 2021 with a population of 153 people, the
sample studied was 30 respondents and taken by accidental sampling. Data collection included
coding, editing, and tabulating, then the data is analyzed manually and on a computer using the
Spearman rank test.
The results of the research that have been carried out are mostly (60%) male, most of the
respondents' age (80%) are 36-60 years old, most of the respondents' education level (40%) are
colleges, most of the respondents' occupations (46 ,7%) are civil servants, most of the respondents'
family support (76,7%) is in the high category, while the motivation for healing is mostly (93,3%)
in the strong category. Analysis of the results of the study using the Spearman rank test, obtained
p = 0.01 <0.05 and r = 0.583, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between family
support and motivation to recover from Covid 19 confirmed patients.
